Argentine Tango
Argentine Tango is a passionate and elegant communication between two people.
Each partner can express musical moods through improvised movements. You can dance simple Tango after one lesson, but spend a lifetime developing your own Tango style.
Tango originated in the “Rio de la Plata” at the turn of the last century. Tango was born within the immigrant and lower class communities in this area. During the next few decades Tango spread throughout South American society and then throughout the world.
Juan Rando and Amanda Metcalf are known throughout Australia as two of Tango’s foremost dancers and teachers. Through Juan Rando, JRDA has become Perth's premiere academy for the study and development of Argentine Tango for performers, professionals and social dancers.
