The Ball
To help celebrate the tenth anniversary of Juan Rando Dance Academy we will be running the 2008 JRDA Ball on Saturday 18th October. Encompassing all JRDA dance styles, the ball aims to celebrate both social and performance dancing. A great opportunity for everyone to enjoy dinner, dancing and fantastic performances, the JRDA Ball 2008 will give you a night out to remember.

The Music & Social Dancing
A fantastic mix of music will be played by our wonderful DJs on the evening. With plenty of Salsa and Argentine Tango (Vals and Milonga included) we will also be throwing in a sampling of Zouk, Cha Cha, Bachata, West Coast Swing, Samba de Gafieira, and Samba no Pe to represent all of the dancers in attendance. This will give you plenty of time to hit the dance floor and chat to your friends on this magical night.

The Venue
The Embassy Ballroom is one of Perth's most respected dancing venues, continuing to provide outstanding service. The decadent atmosphere of this Grande Ballroom provides a sophisticated and classy ambience. With the biggest permanent dance floor in the southern hemisphere this is the perfect venue for the JRDA Ball.

The Dinner
A buffet dinner that will keep you dancing all night. Caters for Vegetarian and Gluten intolerant. Champagne or Orange Juice upon arrival. Endless soft drink and cash bar.

The Dress Code
Elegant cocktail attire is essential. The perfect excuse to dress up in your hottest dress and your sharpest suit (traditional black and white is discouraged and no bow ties!!).

The Performances
JRDA has built a strong tradition over the years in student performance groups. It is a fantastic opportunity for students of all levels, to push their dancing beyond a social level and have the opportunity to perform to their peers, demonstrating the progression of their dancing skills and confidence. Every year the performance groups prove to be a highlight of the ball evenings and we look forward to this years presentations.
The JRDA Ball also provides an opportunity for the professionals to strut their stuff out on the dance floor. The JRDA Professional Salsa and West Coast Swing teams will be presenting their new routines as well as the new West Coast Swing routine by Amanda and Juan.

Tickets/Tables
Tickets are $110. Early bird special $100 prior to Friday September 12
Organised Tables of 10 : $100 per person.  $90 with early bird special.

Tables of ten are positioned around the dance floor, to give the best vantage point while watching the shows and social dancing. Seating placement will be organised by JRDA according to desired companions and dance style.
Group Booking Option: If you can organise a group of ten to book together, then we will give you a fantastic discount. Instead of $110, you can get your ball tickets for just $100 each. ($90 if you purchase them before the early bird cut off date).

When are tickets available?

There is a limited number, so the sooner you buy your ticket, the less chance you have of missing out on the studio event of the year. Last year booked out within a month.
